Application principle
The functions of horticultural perlite in Horticulture are as follows: 1. loosening the internal structure of matrix to maintain the normal exchange of water, gas and fertilizer; 2. reducing bulk density to facilitate transportation and transplantation; 3. maintaining the stable structure of matrix.
Utilizing the porous property of perlite and the characteristic of perlite, it is beneficial for the root of crops to penetrate into the interior of perlite matrix to absorb nutrients. The pore of perlite can conserve a large amount of water and nutrients, and supply the growth needs of crops for a long time. In agricultural production, it is directly used for planting crops on the surface and cultivating flowers and plants in flowerpots. At the same time, it can transform the soil and regulate the soil plate. It plays an important role in preventing crop lodging and controlling fertilizer efficiency and fertility. The porous adsorbability of perlite can also be used as diluent and carrier of pesticides and herbicides in agriculture.
